EXCELLENTVerified Best tour group Azizi was extremely patient in setting up three days of touring for me. Tashreeq was my guide for the entire time. He was beyond wonderful. He always thought about how close to an attraction he could drop me off. He gave me as much time as needed for each site we visited. Whatever you want, he was there for me. These tour sites all around Cape Town were better than the cruise I took up and down the coast of South Africa. It was our first time in Cape Town and wanted a taste of everything. We did the City Tour with Darlington who was great and then The Peninsular tour and then headed to the garden route via wine tasting in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Tash was our driver and guide from cape town onwards and was just amazing. Very knowledgeable, considerate with a great sense of humour. We did a Wine Tour with Wanderers to two of Cape Town's wineries (Boschendal and Delaire Graff). Everything about the tour was fantastic. Our guide, Ronnie, was EXCELLENT. He was friendy, knowldgable and also a good driver. Notably, the car was in great conditions. We enjoyed both wineries very much and got to stay as much time as we wanted in both (about 2 hours each). They are able to tailor-make the tour as you wish, choosing where you want to visit. We wanted to spend more time in less wineries. The reason why not a five-star rating is that they only contacted me with the tour details 10pm the day before. I had to contact them asking for my tour details, so I was a bit worried for a while that my reservation had been lost, which was a bit stressful. After seeing great reviews for Wanderer, I decided to use their services for our small group that would be visiting Cape Town for about six days. Che Watson was great to work with! He laid out a preliminary itinerary early on and then tweaked it to fit our actual arrivals (six people, arriving on two different days). Paying his company was easily done online. His recommended hotels were great properties for us in perfect locations (Radisson Red near the V&A Waterfront and Asara Hotel out in the Winelands). Che planned well for our group (wildlife where possible). When the Kirstenbosch Gardens Summer Concert series was postponed, he came up with a great alternative (private guide in the Garden and dinner at Moyo). This attention to detail and willingness to work with us to match our personalities as a group was greatly appreciated. Our guide Tash was amazing! He soon learned what we liked and tailored our tour accordingly (knew we'd prefer a bit of shopping in Stellenbosch rather than the museum.) We really enjoyed touring with him and appreciated his patience and kindness. We six women always felt safe with him. I wouldn't hesitate to use Wanderer again.Verified MIND BLOWING This was one of the best travel experiences I've had so far. For most of our tour,we used a guide by the name,Darlington. And he was incredible. He is well knowledgeable with the area and the history of the Western Cape. He made sure our comfort and satisfaction was a priority. I would highly recommend him. We also had the privilege of having the coolest lady guide for a day.Her name was Nuria. She was such a delight.Verified Not happy I rearranged an airport transfer prior to traveling to South Africa with Wanderer Tours. Our flight was a little delayed but they had our flight details so they should have adjusted the time of the pick up. I have written them twice asking for a refund but no response. I had to hire a local taxi to get from the Airport to my hotel. Very disappointed.
