Two nights is the shortest stay that still does the destination justice. It works when arrival and departure flights are sensible, and it fails when a mid-afternoon arrival is followed by an early morning departure. This shape assumes a full middle day at the Falls.

Three nights is the sweet spot. It gives you both sides of the waterfall without a rushed border morning, a scenic flight and one wildlife or cultural experience, while still leaving unstructured time.
